There were not many pressed for a few reasons.
Most of these mixes are from splicing tape together with razor blades and were made by local DJ's. They had a small number pressed and given out through DJ record pools. Some were also just made for radio. I think many are lost.
And Disconet megamixes took off very well, so others wanted to put there own together.
As soon as DJ's started playing different clubs in different markets, the more well known of these mixes followed.
It was one of the Bits and Pieces mix that evolved into Stars On 45.
If you have originals, that's great. I wish I had more of them.
But there are a lot of copies and bootleg copies are still being made today. And some of these are sold in some DJ stores.
As for value, yes they have good value, but ebay has killed record value (although I have noticed a little upturn). Check them and also gemm.com.
But the true value depends on you. If it were me, I would keep them.
