sounds like -Disco Circus- over and over
to me...euro disco from 78
the guy s vocals are slightly vocodered.

This one has a woman singing the refrain "Over and Over" for a while over quite a sparse bassline.
Then a man sings:
"What - does it take - to make you satisfied
the more I give - the more you want.
Nothing I can do - will fill you up girl
????
Over and over"
Then there's a very long, rock-y guitar solo.
Ring any bells?

Cheers Johnny. I just had a listen on AMG and it's not the one though. This one is a lot less Italo-y than that. The search also threw up a Claudja Barry version of that song though which sounds pretty good.
its not sylvester - over and over, right, cause there s a long guitar solo mid way through the record...
dont think a lady is singing on it... just folks clapping, whistling...singing the gospel
you probably know it anyway...keep digging now..
This is Charles Earland, "Over & Over" on Mercury, 1978, from his PERCEPTIONS album. I know there was a promo 12", not sure if it went commercial.Originally Written by Kendela

Thanks NickNack. I found one copy of the 12" but it's $175, so I might just go for the album.
Thanks for the suggestions Johnny
