My best guess would be Instant Replay by Dan Hartman.
Ok,
How about this one. I do not know an artist name or songtitle. I know it is sung by a woman. I don't know when the record was in the charts and I do not know any lyrics.
What I do know is that somewhere in the song they are counting up from one to six ( I guess) and then you here some instrumental music that is almost exactly like the music you here when you listen to the Weather Girls: It's raining man, when that song starts...
Hope you know which I mean.
My best guess would be Instant Replay by Dan Hartman.
Maybe it's Miquel Brown's song "So many men
so little time" from 1983
DD Sound - Wake up in the night
...well she goes from one to five
Probably NIGHTLIFE UNLIMITED - Disco choo choo , if i remember well , they count in the middle of the song in french and english ..........RU
**Dreamin\' about those disco lights**
Doesn't the singer count only up to four on "Disco Choo Choo"...?
\"...a once in a lifetime feeling that returns every week...\"
I didn't know any musos could count beyond 4.
Here we go a 1, a 2, a 1 2 3 4........
But seriously, If anyone identifies this track correctly it'll be a miracle.

Illuvatar,
I believe you asked about this song before. At the time I said that it could be "Countdown (Here I Come)" by Kofi and the Lovetones on Electricity (UK). This is a mid 80s Hi-NRG track and in the middle the female vocalist sings:
"6, 5, 4--3, 2, 1 here I come, here I come baby...."
Then a little later a computerized male vocal counting down from 10. Has drum rolls (like earthquake sounds) similar to Marcia Raven's "Catch Me."
