From the lyrics it sounds like it could be 'Love Spell' by Caress.

The name of the song is "Underlove." The song was a big hit for Melba Moore in 1982. From 1982 until '86, Melba Moore and Kashif made beautiful music together. Check out her anthology-you won't be disappointed. Hope this helps!

Thank you Raphael for filling that hole in my memory banks. Well some things don't always stand out but now listening to some other tracks I have of hers, it becomes quite obvious. And true enough, she sure was part of the crowd I liked: Cheryl Lynn, Evelyn Champagne King, Stephanie Mills, etc. Thanks again.
