I have a doubt.

The song "Don't Pity Me" was recorded by Faith, Hope & Charity

or by Thelma Houston?

or maybe by both?

I do have the Thelma Houston version. So I am shure she recorded.:lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi Hessel-This is a favorite of mine,and the Faith,Hope and Charity version is an "early AM"
classic.The LP date is 1978 and the writer is
Van McCoy.Since they were his back up group
at the time,I'm thinking their version may have
come out before Thelma's-is their a date on
your copy? Hope this helps!

Reviving this thread...I'm pretty sure the Faith Hope and Charity version is first.

Thelma's came out on a 45 in the UK .. theres a scan here -
