Is the track "Face the music"? If yes, it's on the Motown LP called "Face the music". It's also on the "Pure Pleasure" album.
Which Dynamic Superiors album is this track from? I also need to know what other note-worthy tracks are on the album and was there a 12" of "So Hard To Face The Music"?

PURE PLEASURE by DS contains the seriously hot track, "Deception". Just under 5 minutes, this is one of Motown's funkiest cuts. Big in NYC.

That may well be the title KoolChris. I just said "so hard to face the music" because that's what the chorus is. I'm hoping that's the correct one. If some of the sites would show pics of album covers things would be a lot easier for those times when you can only remember what the sleeve looks like. Seems like the cover for this one had a man's knees sticking up out of a bathtub. I can remember comments made concerning whether or not the legs were of a man or woman (as Tony Williams, The groups lead singer was gay and very feminine down to his painted toenails).Originally Written by KoolChris
I think you guys are on the mark with this one as I faintly remember "Deception". It was an uptempo piece and a very disco-ish number correct? It's been so long since I heard. It's a shame that their catalogue is limited to a high priced japanese import that only seems to have a lot of their bogus 80's material. The only thing I can find on cd is "Shoe Shoe Shine" and that is only on various compilation cd's. That original album was good as well but never released on cd. How many albums did they have anyway?Originally Written by NickNack

Does this look familiar? It sounds from your memories like this is totally what you're looking for. I can't really help you if you need it on CD, as I go for vinyl whenever possible, and exclusively when that's what it first was released on. You might want to check gemm & eBay if they carry CD reissues. Otherwise, there's several copies of this album on vinyl for under $10 on eBay right now. An excellent source of rare (and in perfect shape) vinyl is also www.recordsbymail.com . Good luck in your quest.

KoolChris: That's It! That's the one I remember! That cover caused a lot of controversy amongst people that I knew who had it. It was a song on it talking about getting run over by a car Hit And Run. (You didn't see me coming around the curve...Tried to step aside but I made you swerve.
Man, I gotta look into this one. Thanks for the info.;-) 8)
