:icon_mrgreen: Ahh yea....I remember this one well! 14 yrs old at the time, Somebody brought this one to school and it was in heavy rotation in the boys locker room. I was IN LOVE with her and she was THE ONLY female disco artist that I ever really paid any attention to. I remember us scurrying through the mag hoping to find some nude spreadshots but.........
Donna Summer(my favorite female disco artist of all time)
My cousin also had the cover on the wall in his room for yrs. Two thumbs up for triggering this one remicks*;)

Interesting....I had never read this article before.
You can certainly detect Donna's desperation for a change from this celebrity/ false image life that she was in. When the Wanderer album was released in 1980 (a few months after this article), I had always thought it was some abrupt, crazy, born-again attempt of hers to correct the error of her ways. Twenty-seven years later, I have been bothered with that period in time when disco was a bad word while at the same time, Donna "Queen-of-Disco" Summer, decides to turn her back on it and choose God.
Her answers in the Penthouse article clearly show that she was a lady struggling between playing this sex starlette role and her own morals.
