    San Francisco cds disco shops?

    Hello
Does anybody know where to find second hand disco cds in San Francisco>
I am going to SF for two week between the end of July and beginning of August (2006).
I am looking for out of print disco compilation with rare/good soul disco tracks like
Juggy Murray :Inside America (Original 12")
    Mary Clayton : Emotion
Mighty Clouds of Joy (1975 Album)
Dee Dee Bridgewater : Bad For Me
    Bombers Get Dancing (Original 12")
Sylvia Stripling : Give Me your Love
    Chaz Junkill
    ...got the idea?
    Cheers

Amoeba Records on Haight Street has a very respectable selection of disco CDs, 12 inches and albums. The Berkeley Amoeba store also has a good selection but not quite as good as the San Francisco store. And parking at both stores is practically non-existent, so don't even try it. Take public transportation, and avoid going on weekends, you often have to wait just to walk down an aisle because of the crowds. Best time to go is weekdays when most shoppers are at school and work.

Fabio, Amoeba is one of the best for used CDs. Sometimes you can find a few items at Streetlight Records. They have two locations - one on Market Street near Castro and the other on 24th Street between Noe and Sanchez.

However, the best place to find the stuff you're looking for is Medium Rare Music which is also on Market Street between Castro and Noe. They don't have used CDs but you'll find some of the disco and soul titles you listed and many many more!

The City by the Bay welcomes you! :D

Medium Rare is a great store with some really amazing product, and you don't have to go out to the smelly Haight and search for parking for two hours.

It sure is! I got a CDR of 3 degrees'3D' with bonus tracks including both Hot Tracks & Disconet remixes of 'Set Me Free' - I know it's a crummy bootleg but it was alot cheaper than getting those mixes on vinyl.
