if you read the book 'love saves the day' and I am pretty sure you will or have done already, you will see that actually there's more than just a 'connection'. The facts are even stronger; Disco came out of the gay/latino/black minority scenes where it was defined long BEFORE commercialism took over and tried to deny the gay roots. Disco was a culture that was originally formed by gays (and other minorities) so yes, of course, lots of gays were active in the scene.

The whole discussion about Gay in Disco should not be opened again, I believe. I think it is not really important to know who Tom Moulton sleeps with.. don't you think?

Yeah can't we just get to the point where--"he's gay" is just a statement of fact and not an indictiment or some shameful thing. So many of these DJs and prominent figures in the early disco movement were GAY--I know Mixmachine will think I'm waving the PROUD GAY FLAG--but it's just a statement of THE FACTS, MAN.;-)
