Thumbs up Help me please.....40th birthday coming up and need to find out what this song is.

Right now. None of you have let me down before and I an depending on you all now. There was a cheesy song years ago (early 80's) and it was all about Dallas and Dynasty. Those words were in the lyrics.

    Went something like

Dallas and Dynasty...can't remember any moe. Had a catchy tune, quite camp.

Anyway, I am 40 in a few weeks and we are having a themed party so this record would be just great to have.

    Over to you.

David Ebo replaced Teddy Pendergrass in Harold Melvin's Bluenotes. The track "I'd rather be by myself" is a great ballad and is quite hard to find especially on CD.

    Happy Birthday neal,
I read this one at work a few hours ago and it taunted my memory I finally rememberd the rest of the lines

"My brothers doing fast on my mothers t.v.
Says she watches to much, is just not healthy
All my children in the daytime, dallas at night
Cant even see the game or the sugar ray fight"

Grand Master Flash & The Furius 5 - The Message
    Sugarhill Records
    Heres a clip

Is it a dancy version? I do not recognise the lyrics. I know it was being played in the mid 80's.

I am not going as Krystle, I am not blonde!!
