    Freddie Gorman R.i.p

freddie gorman of the originals passed away on june 13th
freddie originally a solo singer who cut a couple of great sides for ric-tic in detroit in the late 60s,few crossed over to motown when berry bought ric-tic but freddie did and became bass singer and lead with the originals who for me were one of motowns greatest acts and sadly very underated, last recorded [as far as i know] in the very early 90s solo and with the originals for ian levines motorcity label, freddie was also a writer at motown writing many hits including Mr Postman for the Marvelettes

Love the originals 'Down To Love Town' album. So many great cuts. And of course the old stuff like The Bells and Baby I'm For Real are classics, without question.

    RIP Freddie Gorman
