    Classic crap???

    From the above credits, I think that it's obvious that the track was made with tongues very firmly in cheeks. However, it was much better made than it should have been (if you get the gist) and DID genuinely fool lotsa people. I probably played it half a dozen times and much to my chagrin, it just happened to be on a tape, the playlist of which, I published here back in my early days. Discodisk has never forgetten, nor forgiven me!!

    I suspect the sample is of the 7". The 12" had more 'beats' and the instrumental 'B' side was as electro as anything from da U.S.A. at the time.

    Electro did a good job of doing that without any help from me. Along with the good stuff, there was some pretty lame records too!!

    To be accurate, Roland was a hit in the UK, because at the time he was an absolute phenomenum, single-handedly rescuing the fortunes of TV AM. Everybody lurved Roland, didn't they?.
