Room 222, Mod Squad, Starsky & Hutch, Quincy, Incredible Hulk - off the top of my head. There are probably others, but I don't remember them.

I never heard of that show The Magician. I guess Bill Bixby did that before the Hulk. It looks like he has one of those killer spheres from the Phantasm flicks. :)

Me either. Guess we will learn about more than music here. It must have been before Bill did hulk. I thought I pretty much followed him since his stint on 'My Favorite Martian" but "Magician" somehow slipped by me...

    American Bandstand
    Hawaii Five-O
    Kojack
    Starsky & Hutch
    Mod Squad
    The Rookies
    Dukes Of Hazzard
    Kung Fu
    Mission Impossible
    Night Gallery
    Gunsmoke
    Bonanza
    The White Shadow

Ther's a boatload of shows I watched in the 70's lol (that's what kids do...) Many of the great ones already mentioned, so here's a few more to add.....

    Baretta
    S.E.A.R.C.H
    Chiller Theatre
    Dr. Who
    Emergency
    Wild Wild West
    Hawaii 5 0
    Mannix
    The Rockford Files
    Barnaby Jones
    The Bionic Woman

    "The Gerry Anderson collection", lol
    U.F.O
    The Thunderbirds
    Space 1999
    Captain Scarlet

....well that's all I can think of right now.....:-D

...And yes, The Magician was before the "David" Banner days - and it was a great show - he was a magician running around solving crimes, using his wits and the occasional "magical illusion"

That's right, funny a lot of people don't remember that one coz' it was very popular here.

    Here's a link with more details: http://www.crazyabouttv.com/magician.html

I forgot about "Baretta"!!!!! Too bad I never saw "Captain Scarlet". I had the toys though!

The Magician was shown here in The Yuk during the '70s. I also recall a series called Executive Suite, a sort of Dallas before it was invented.

Hey Videoskooter, "Have girls will travel" was called "The American Girls" when shown in the US. It starred David Spielberg. Ring any bells now?

I should add the Planet of The Apes series (I can't wait to get that big box they just released for the collective Apes films and TV series).

And Doctor Who! I'm a total Who-head. I had the pleasure of meeting Peter Davison years ago in person, and was totally starstruck, even though I had met many other celebrities before him. Damn that guy was tall (6 feet?), but he was really cool. My favorite Doctors were Pertwee and T Baker as well. I prefer the early Baker stuff, with Sara Jane Smith.

DF, I just bought it! (here it's only the movies) BIG FUN ;) And I also got the 4 boxes of Starsky and Hutch, so it's the 70's revisited these days

Now, Dr. Who did make it to our screens (even the newest series is broadcasted) but I remember it wasn't that popular, my friends all preferred the American SF, like Star Trek and what was that series again with a submarine, called "Seaview"??????

The clips below were from the later "manga" series correct? The Space Giants with Goldar & Rodak? I remember watching this a lot on TBS in the 70's/80's. Whatever happened?

    Re: What's Your Favourite 70's Show (Non-Comedy)?

I never watched TeeVee during the '70s. I was working 9-10 hours a day and attending night college 2-3 nights a week. So... I didn't have much free time and when faced with making the choice of watching TeeVee or boozing, smoking weed, getting laid and Disco. I always chose boozing, smoking weed, getting laid and Disco... 8)

    In no particular order:

    1) Caribe - Stacy Keach cop show which Miami Vice ripped off a few years later.
    2) The Great American Dream Machine - PBS anthology
    3) Charlie's Angels - for the superior writing and the mise-en-scene :-o
    4) The Who, What Or Where Game - a rather difficult NBC game show hosted by Art James that ran after Jeopardy in the NYC area.
    5)Petrocelli
    6) Kolchak The Night Stalker - Fred "Prink Rady and Jeff" Silverman didn't like horror shows, so he scheduled KTNS against Sanford and Son to kill it.
    7)SWAT
    8)Dallas
9)A Man Called Sloane - Ji-Tu Cumbaka's character was rather interesting, but never developed.
    10) Barnaby Jones - for the "Barnaby Does The Hustle" episode alone....:-o

I just watched Starsky and Hutch's first episode of the fourth season and it was all Disco! Most of the scenes were in a club, called "Fever" (probably in a studio) and the killer's apartment had a dancefloor and silver glitter-curtains :-)

Songs that I heard: "Macho Man", "Disco Inferno", "Love To Love You Baby" and others. Not bad at all :-)

Bit of trivia about that episode: the d.j. who jumps out from behind the booth and started dancing while everyone watched (yeah, like THAT happened all the time  ) was Adolfo "Shabba Doo" Quinones, the ex-Locker and star of BREAKIN'.
