"Dance Until You Drop" - Online sample anyone?

Hi,

There's a song from the 70s/80s that's going round my head and I've got to find a sample of it somewhere.

I just remember it having the line "Dance until you drop" at the end of each verse in a kind of staccato style. I've also got vague memories of seeing a clip on TOTP or TOTP2 with a bloke singing whilst playing a keyboard hung around his neck - the ones that are kind of like guitars.

I've identified one potential as Dance Until You Drop by The Ritz (1979, Epic) but I can't find any samples online to verify it.

Anyone know of possible alternatives or samples for The Ritz version?:???:

Cant think of the tune you mean Degsy, but it's on the tip of my tongue!

I think you can safely rule out the Ritz tune though. There's no way that would have ever been on TOTP or TOTP2. Ian Levine used to play it at Heaven in 1979/80, but it wasn't a pop hit. And it's rubbish too.

Yeah, I should have said 'in my opinion' Nick. I always thought it was a pretty cheap Chic impersonation, but each to their own.
