A really good list there, Sirius!
Lots of good memories!
I love your crop of '77 stuff - Kool and the Gang, Joe Tex, CJ and Co, Gene Farrow.
Kleeer were on one the most popular groups on the UK soul/funk scene, and that LP was well loved - especially "Open Your Mind" and "Winners".
That Tom Browne track was a great tune.. As you say, very uplifting and joyous feel to it...
That Jones Girls track was from 1979, I believe. It certainly created big ripples in the UK..
Final comment on "Bad Luck". I always especially loved the Philly long versions. I think I have that double LP (on music cassette). Could you give me the listings and times of your LP so that I may check??
BTW I am not sure about your dates - August 17th??
If it moves - funk it!!
