    Who should have done or should do disco?

    If someone is intimate with Miss Janice Dickinson, the world's first Supermodel, author and an icon, please persuade her to record a nu-disco track or a whole cdful of the stuff. I'm certain she would deliver a great performance, and if she cannot sing she could always talk her way thru it all in her own inimitable style. She's great or what, or is she? It's a pity Janice did not think of doing that during the late 70's. If she had entered a studio then those 12" ers would be classics, and think of the sleeves of the albums!
    Another who should have done it back in the day: Salvador Dali.

    I am pretty sure these qualifications apply to another female celeb;
    Paris Hilton.
    The word is out that she is about to release a single? album? with her vocal deliveries but I doubt if that will be Disco style.
    I bet Paris Hilton her debut will be R&B or so....

    I've always regretted that Aretha Franklin didn't jump to it way earlier. I know the clubs would've embraced her big time if she'd been in the right hands ...
    I remember going thru a rougher pat of Bakersfield in my little Fiat Spider on a hot day with the top down .... music a blarin' .....

    and at a stop sign someone calling over "Is that Aretha? " .....

    "No " I answered , " Loleatta Holloway ! "

    Nice topic. I for instance would have loved to hear Sade Adu doing a disco song BITD. Would have been the coolest without a doubt.

    More into the outlandish, do you imagine Marilyn Manson in 1979? Yes, he could have sung "I was made for loving you" (he was the Kiss of the Nineties). And his ex GF Rose McGowan would have done a very glamourous disco diva (think a Cerrone production for instance).

    Imaginary LP covers:

    ROSE & MARILYN - "Kiss Kiss Lick Lick"

    ANNA FALCHI - "Tormenta Disco"

    MONICA BELLUCCI - "Can't get out of the groove"

    hey I'm getting excited over this :)
    It don't mean a thing (if ain't got that swing)
