I recently discovered this gem & can't stop listening to it. I can't find any information on them though.
Does anyone know if they released an album? Is it the same Benelux who remixed the incredible techno track "Pacific Symphony" from Transformer2?
They don't made many stuff:
http://www.discomusic.com/records-more/6498_0_2_0_C/ is their best known effort.
There's another 12" from 1979 that was not very successful and had the title "Do It/Taste Me"
Nancy Dee went solo and released another track in 1982, called "Gonna Getcha".
Initially she was a backing-singer for Belgian artist Micha Marah and participated with her at the 1979 Eurovision Songcontest. Micha originally hated the song "Hey Na Na" but still went on with it. In the case she had refused to perform, they would have replaced her by Nancy Dee.
I don't recall any albums by "Benelux" and I'm pretty sure it's not the same production team that went Techno in the recent years. But you never know of course.
Loved the flutey instrumental version on the flip more. Interestingly this track was a minor chart hit in the UK.
noticed this thread is 5 years old but just seen it- yes it was a minor pop hit in 1979 but was still getting played occasionally as an oldie on the London/South East jazz/funk/soul scene in mid-80s as I had it recorded from the Weekender radio station at a dance weekender in about 1986 (think Kev Hill or Robbie Vincent played it) always liked it and finally got to see Nancy Dee doing it on Youtube tonight - very very nice she looks as sexy as she sounds. Think Benelux may have just been the name for the 2 backing singers.
