ANSWER :
When Neil Bogart first began his Casablanca Records not even he dreamed he was establishing the soon to be premier disco label .
Most of his iinitial releases were anything but disco, and Neil must have been excited that one of his first signings for his developing roster of stars was a big name from the past ...... 60's heartthrob Herman of Herman's Hermit's .
An early Casablanca release was the single :
NEB-0016 --- Noone, Peter ---MEET ME ON THE CORNER / BLAME IT ON THE EXPRESS
But that was it . One lonely mildly successful single was all that was produced .... no album , no further singles ....
Not sure why the fizzle, but too bad Peter Noone didn't stick around Casablanca a bit longer . Who knows whom he might have wound up working on a project with ...... Costandinos , Giorgio , Jabara , Meco ......
Maybe Moroder would've done an album with him
calling it something like Henry The Eighth's Knights in White Satin .....:roll::D
