Question? does anyone remember a title by People's Choice when they were on Casablanca Records....I cannot for the life of me remember what it was -= I think it was from 1980 or 1981 and was it also on an LP and if so, still available in any format?

I believe it's "My Feet Won't Move" or something like that.

"You Ought to be Dancing" is on the Sounds Like 54 double-CD set from Smak Records that was a topic here a few months ago. Lots of great stuff from our man Mr. Moulton on that one.

Glad you like that one, Jeff.

"You Ought To Be Dancing" by People's Choice is also on the Casablanca 4 CD Box Set: "Casablanca Records Story" --full-length version (6:14). This is where I first heard that cut.

It's on the Casablanca box set too? I didn't realize (or at least remember) that!

Now THAT is the greatest compilation ever. And I've seen it selling these days for as little as $20 or so, new not used. Sacrilege!

    DanceMan--

The Casablanca box set is still available at Amazon and at Collectors' Choice Music (www.ccmusic.com); both are selling it for about $45. (Collectors' Choice even has the cassettes on sale for $23, but I don't know why you'd want those.)
