    I think.....

    Geraldine Hunt produced Cheri's Murphy's Law
    Her daughter Rosalind was the lead singer..

    For a moment i thought that she also produced her son Freddies
    album but my copy states Tony Green as producer of all tracks..

    I'm not surprised .........no matter how unique I think a question might be to pose here .... there always seems to wind up being an alternative answer !!:icon_exclaim:

    I think your excellent answer is a correct one DJ-Pir :D

    however ...
    it isn't the one I had in mind
    :roll:

    One distinction ..... the producer Mom I'm thinking of wasn't a part of the group itself....
    She was the producer only.

    ???

    additional clue : Without actually looking I think its safe to say you won't find this song on the DJ 700 list. I doubt it'd make it on a DJ 1200 list either .

    I guess that makes it a fantastic example of "deep"
    disco :roll::lol:

    Here, I'll complete your quiz (from the Apollo thread):

    The group was Apollo and the bassist was the son of the producer, Raynoma Gordy-Singleton.
