the song is "My Love is Free" by Double Exposure on Salsoul records
Hello,
I urgently need to find author and title of the original song from which the modern dance track below has taken some samples.
I know it's 70s or early 80s dance/disco song, and nothing else. I promise that the first that will correctly ID the original song will be mentioned in special thanks when the track we're working on (based on the same sample) will be released.
here is the link:

Thank you.

I concur. It's based on "My Love Is Free" by Double Exposure from the summer of 1976 on Salsoul. (the followup to their first biggie "Ten Percent")
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
there's an acapella of that floating around as well, . . . recently re-released should be pretty easy to find.
Got it! Thanks all, guys. Now I know who to contact to get the clearance of the samples we used.
Anyway, QdEarl was the first :-) Send me by private message the name with which you would be thanked (of course if you want), I will mention you in special thanks on the vinyl cover ... given salsoul will give the authorization and allow us to release the track with their sample, as I hope.
Hi
I'm curious...how did you manage to sample it without knowing what it was..details would be on cd/vinyl?
Sixty minutes is nothing special (but it\'s all the world to me)
There are bootleg comps that float around with acapellas, but feature cryptic titles. Like they might have called the track 'Free Exposure' or something funny like that.
I know there was a series of 12" records called DJ Tools by Salsoul, which featured certain tracks pulled apart into their basic elements - vocals, rhythm track, backing vocals, etc... My Love Is Free was one of those 12"s.
