    Dear Friends!
This are my faves for tonight:

    -CAROLINE BERNIER"Take It Off"(LP/1981/It´s
produced by Edwin Starr and very sexy and
danceable, although she´s not a good singer)
-PIERRE BOHE"Nina Does It The French Way"
(12"/1979/Seems to be from France and is
typical DiscoPorn for Sleazers on the dance-
    floor)
    -CHANGE"A Lover´s Holiday"(LP/"The Glow Of
    Love"/1980/Still a DiscoClassic from
Fred Jacques Petrus & Mario Malavasi/This
    Album is a Must!)
    -ANGELA DEAN"World X"(12"/Long Version/79/
    Another unknown DiscoNRG-NewWaveTrack but
    very functional)
-JOEL DIAMOND EXPERIENCE"Heaven In The After-
    noon"(12"/Remix By Howard Herritt/1979/
Casablanca Records/This is a very heavenly
    kitschy DiscoTrack, which I admire!)
    -DIRECT CURRENT"Everybody Here Must Party"
    (12"/Long Version/1979/The same version as
on LP, but listen to this bassline!)
    -EL COCO"Mondo Disco"(12"/Long Version/76/
    AVI-Records/Tropical-Summer-Breeze-Disco
for Hot Summer Nights/Still a classic!)
    -LINDA EVANS"Don´t You Need"(12"/Long V./79/
This has nothing to do with "Dynasty", but
this a smoother DiscoTrack like 54)
    -GONZALEZ"Haven´t Stopped Dancing Yet"(12"/
Long V./1978/This one is a favorite off
all times for me...Percusssive and whistle
    blowing...Happy people everywhere!)
    -THELMA HOUSTON"I´m Here Again"(12"/Special
    Disco V./1977/This one is a promo-edition.
Sounds like Part 2 of "Don´t Leave Me..."/
    Should be mixed together)
    -MADLEEN KANE"Fever"(LP/"Rough Diamond"/78/
Ah, there she is again! Disco Royal for
    gourmets!!!)
-GRACE JONES"Pull Up To The Bumper"(12"/
Remix By Steve Stanley/1981/I think this
on is a Paradise-Garage-Classic and was
also very massive here in Europe/Play this
in a car in the summerheat of a city)
    -AMANDA LEAR"La Bagarre"(7"/1975/This could
be one of the first records, she ever made/
"La Bagarre" means "The Fight" and sounds
a little bit rocky, but verrrrry nice)
    -NIGHTLIFE UNLIMITED"Disco Choo Choo"(12"/
Mixed By Jim Perez/This one is with rap-
vox inside and the first version I´ve ever
heard/Can´t get enough of this track!)
    -PARADISE EXPRESS"Dance"(12"/Long V./1978/
Yellow Vinyl!/Orig. from Paul Jabara but
this one could break your bones with the
    heavy bassline. Another DiscoClassic and
    a Must!)
-PUSSYFOOT"Lay Your Love On The Line"(12"/
Long Version/1979/Sounds a little bit like
    Abba for HardCoreDancers...very commercial
    and a sing-a-long-chorus)
    -SHAKATAK"Down On The Street"(12"/Dance Mix/
1984/British DiscoJazzFunk with a big hit
from the "ugly" 80ies...Bill Sharpe was
    responsible for Shakatak)
    -SILK"Midnight Rider"(12"/Long Version/1979/
A more funky DiscoTrack, but seems to be
    forgotten nowadays. Sorry for that)
    -MELODY STEWART"Action Satisfaction"(12"/
    Remix/1980/Good and very functional. Some
for those who are into Paradise Garage)
    -TELEX"L´Amour Toujours"(12"/Special Dance
    Mix/1985/HI-NRG-Stuff I enjoy so much...
or is it more romantic? Nervertheless you
can dance yourself dizzy with this song)

    Hope, you find something interesting.

Hhmmmm. Interesting! There are 2 'E's in your list but no 'Q's or 'Z's!!!

My pick of your bunch? Gotta be Direct Current. Good memories on that one. On the same label as that Gonzales track. I have the Gonzales track on 7" but I could swear I bought a 2nd hand copy of the 12"...

I like that Melody Stewart track. Is that the 12" with 'Get Down Get Down' on the other side?

I remember 'Pull Up To The Bumper' very well indeed. I was in Germany at the time (in Osnabruck) , where it was, like you said, a massive hit...

And finally, you chose that wonderful Change LP. One of my favourites with three or four strong cuts on it. But everybody knows that LP anyway, I should think!!

If it moves - funk it!!

    Dear jazz_pilgrim!
About MELODY STEART: This is the one with
"Get Down, Get Down" on the A-Side.
GONZALEZ: Just try to get the Album"Haven´t
Stopped Dancin´", because they have also
some nice funky DiscoTrax. Also taste "Ain´t No Way To Treat A Lady" or "Just
    Let It Lay".
GRACE JONES:In the early 80ies she became
a real GayStar in Europe with "Pull Up To
    The Bumper" and her "Libertango".
CHANGE:I´ve heard it first at a silvester-
party in Yugoslavia combined with Sylvester
and other great DiscoStuff. It makes me now
sad, because there´s no more peace on earth!
Also I love "It´s A Love Affair" and the
beauty of "The Glow Of Love". "The End"
should be mixed with synthesized NewRomantic
    Stuff...
Q like Quantum Jump, Queen Samantha, Quartz.
Z like Michael Zager, Zulema, Zoom.

A detail: I have a "World X" LP with a Angella Dean photo cover, so she is a black female singer and she is in a red dress...Too hot scene...

    Dear Marcio!
I didn´t know that Angela Dean even made an
album. On the 12" there she´s standing on
the wing of an aeroplane in a lilac lurex-
    catsuit.
By the way, is the album good and danceable?
Could you give me more information about?

Sirius, in fact is not a Angella (or Angela) Dean LP!!!
Side A: Word X, by Angella Dean
Side B: Girl, I've Got News for You, by Casanova
It's a crazy brazilian "disco mix" from 1979 and I suppose that Angela Dean is from Italy like Casanova!

    Dear Marcio!
Nevertheless this record seems to be very
    interesting, because it´s another version
    than mine? (12"/1979/5.00)

I think it is the same, Sirius: just about 5 minutes and edited in 1979. It's from a brazilian label called "young" but I can see the italin label:" N.W.A.". No airplane but a Angella Dean's photo, I can see all of your body in a red dress... I think she is little, I don't know...

About your playlist, I only have "Paradise Express" (not yellow) and "Nightlife Unlimited" (Unidisc) wiht four songs: Disco Choo Choo/Dance, Freak and Boogie/Love is in You/Precious Moments (1979). Cover: a blondie girl in a motorcicle...

    .

    .

    Dear Marcio!
I think the yellow-vinyl-12" from PARADISE
EXPRESS is an Issue from Germany(8.16).
NIGHTLIFE UNL.: This one you have is the
Album. Mine is from the label Casablanca
with two women and a man on a locomotive.
"Disco Choo Choo" has been remixed several
times. I have 4 versions for now of this
    favorite of mine.
