I recently spoke to the webmaster of a Fancy site and added his site to my links page. It's under "Artists..." I also have a Fancy entry in the Disco Vault.

    Dear Jack, Dear SteelyDan!
FANCY was in the 70ies a real DragQueenAct
in Munich, then in the early 80ies he began
his music-career with the producer Anthony
Monn(ORS, Amanda Lear) and was very impor-
tant for the german HI-NRG-GayScene. His
hits were "Slice Me Nice" and "Chinese Eyes".
I don´t think that he was a DragQueen in
the early 80ies besides Boy George, Marilyn,
Visage and so many others in Europe, because
it was tres chic, wearing Make-Up even for
    straight men!!!

    Dear Marco!
Certainly not, I think so..."Fancy Party"
is a song about if everything´s opposite
is "normal". By the way, "Madhouse" is
a very good Concept-DiscoAlbum from SILVER
    CONVENTION, I admire a lot.

I saw Fancy LIVE in the early '80's. He (the lead singer) was not in drag, but the two performers with him WERE!

You can't have an 80's disco party without Fancy tracks. My all-time favorite, which has never been pressed onto CD as far as I can tell, is "Get Lost Tonight".

Agree with monty - Come Inside is a brilliant track! Throbbing dirty disco number.

He released a best of called I Love Fancy through Blanco Y Negro label. Every song in this CD are in extended format. I believe the CD was also remastered.

Exceptional Hi-Nrg music from this album.....

Also I Love Savage (of I'm Loosing You fame) was released on this record label as well....

    Thanks
