    Disco songs with a sun or summer theme

    I'm in the process of compiling a podcast/mix of disco songs that are themed around summer, sunshine, vacations, or just heat. I'm trying to balance keeping the theme while picking the best songs. At the same time, I want to avoid overplayed tracks like "Disco Inferno" and "Saturday Night Fever".

    So far I've got the following:
    Ja-Kki - Sun... Sun... Sun...
    Fatback Band - Night Fever
    Donna Summer - Summer Fever (dunno about this, not one of her better tunes)
    Voyage - Souvenirs
    Ritchie Family - Quiet Village ("Summer Dance" would be a more obvious choice, but it's not a great tune)
    THP Orchestra - Two Hot For Love
    Kathi Baker - Feel The Heat (another iffy one)
    El Coco - Dancing In Paradise
    Cerrone - Cerrone's Paradise (not specifically summer, but has the right vibe)
    Musique - Summer Love


    Anyone have any other suggestions?

    'Hot Hot Summer Day' by Sugar Hill Gang.

    Don't be put off by the genre. It may be a rap track, but it's also got a wicked funky disco groove. And if you don't like the rapping, there's always the instrumental on the flip of the 12". There's singing on this track as well, but it's sparse, and clearly not the Gang.
