From a mid-eighties Aerobics tape, I have a HI-NRG song that I can't seem to find anywhere....but it seems like it would be a top 10 item on any collection.
I think the song is named "Invitation", which produces a zillion listings on Amazon, iTunes, etc., most of the results are Jazz.
On the 200 Best 1980's Hi-NRG Hits list, it's listed as being sung by Life Force, with label of Polo (UK) from 1984.
In my view, it's up there with Dead or Alive's Spin Me Round in terms of HI-NRG.
Chorus:
It's an invitation....people coming from everywhere.
Invitation - everybody dance, everybody sing, we can do most anything.
Your help appreciated.

What exactly do U want to know, as you seem to have all the information?
Catalog Number : POLO 12 34
Produced and arranged by Rob Davis.
I seem to remember Lifeforce having the same singer as Liquid Gold.
I'd like to know where I can find the song -- CD, download, etc., and if the name is really "Invitation."
Searching for "Invitation" generates a zillion songs. In my view, it seems likely to be on Best Dance of 80's series of some type.....similiar to Spin Me Round, High Energy, and the like.
Any pointers to a CD with the song would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Qz

I can't help you with the cd version location, maybe someone else knows...
The name of Liquid Gold's vocalist lifted from the "Don't panic" Polo 12" is Ellie Hope, hard to tell if they are the same ...
