    a funk-oldie from apporx 78-85...?

    Hi folks!

This must be the right forum for this question :D

In the beginning of the 80´s when funk and 70´s oldies were hot on the floor me and a friend heard a very cool song on a free Radio Station here in Sweden:

    Lyrics something like this

"...get stone to the bone......till your body says no"

I remember that the vocals sound a bit doubled, which was a very cool effect!

I've googled lika a maniac with all different combinations, but still nothing.

    And it's not James Brown...

If somebody knows about this I would be more than glad!

    Cheers!

There is Stone To The Bone by Timmy Thomas.

    Here is a sample:

    It's from 1977.

Hmmm, the BPM is quite right...

But I don't think this is the one. Has this song been remixed any time?

What I remember was a male doublish (or with large amount of chorus effect) voice singing something like:

...stone to the bone to the bone to the stone... till your body says

    no.

The bold letters marks the 4/4 kick drum in ~110-115 BPM

A beer to him or her that solve this one! 8)
