As if everything else wasn't enough, the profanity-laden personal attacks on specific individuals demonstrate a refined sense of professionalism.

Wasn't he one of the so-called lucky people to have 1 of the 3 copies of the original Frank Wilson 'Do I love you' 7"s!

If you ask me they probably didn't want to own up to having anything to do with the song!![]()
Yep. Theres a little stpry about how he got this in the Ian Levine interview on djhistory.com . He seems like a nasty piece of workOriginally Written by Davicillo
ive always loved this song by the dramatics late 60s detroit dance soul at its best, i sold one last week to an italian guy but id never sell my promo, theres a trick here off all the old 60s northern soulers soussan covered check out the originals they are all really great, the link remics provided above to the song 'the beautiful night' i was too scared to even press it as this song IMHO is the best u.k produced soul record ever [though the singer jimmy thomas was american]Originally Written by SandraDee
yes motown do own copyright but only through a buy out, berry hated [and was worried by] ric-tic, golden world, wingate etc he bought em out,sad would have been great to see how those companies may have progressed
Very interesting Discodisk as I love this cut on the Shalamar LP .... in fact I think it is the reason to own it ..... I had no idea it was a disco remake of an old soul song ....Originally Written by DISCODISK
This smooth & quixotic version is entirely an orchestral instrumental .
This original first LP for the as yet nonexistent "Shalamar" is kind of piecemeal . So it may please you to learn that BEAUTIFUL NIGHT is not one of the cuts produced by Simon Soussan.![]()

I heardINKY DINKY WANG DANG DOO on two of my converted reel to reel disco tapes. One dated May 7 1977 and the other, June 10 1977. This proves I played it in the club and they danced to it.
Always looking for remastered 12\" versions on CD

wonder what you mean im intrigued, i guess he did, but this record was lets say 're-issued', with a few other tiles in early 1973 [from memory] i have a copy somewhere on the soultown label [well actually it was for the 'theres that mountain' side]it appeared to be an obvious bootleg as did the other titles but curiously again from memory its different from the original take.always was a rare record even rarer back then
