Golden Age Of Hip-Hop Vol. 2: Disco Rap

Fall of 1979. Disco is dying (officially). But black kids on the streets of Ney Yorkpick up disco vibes to prop up their rhymes. The world witnesses the birth of one of the most interesting musical genres: hip-hop. And the first hip-hop's subgenre was, as you can guess,Disco Rap. So, this mix is devoted to early days of hip-hop, when it was innocent, sincere and... FUN. Yes, I think, RAP in 2005-2006 lacks the very essence of hip-hop's original idea: making people dance and feel good. Just do what The Trechorous Three suggest:

"HAVE FUN, HAVE FUN, HAVE F-U-U-U-N"

    Style: Disco Rap

    Time: 89:59
    Bitrate: 192 kbs

Nice__ sometimes we forget about Hip-Hop fused with Disco!

Being from Detroit, early Hip-Hop was rarely played on the air-waves! We were heavy into Funk, New Wave, and progressive dance music.

    thank you 'Funky Logic'!
