Just out of curiousity, was there ever a pressing of 'My Baby's Baby' that had the vocal on one side and instrumental on the other? I came across the 7" for this track which was on the Polo label, which I believe was in the UK, and it features a different mix than on the US 12", albeit in shorter vocal and instrumentals. Funny thing is that the 7" was credited as being from 1981, while the Parachute release was from 1979! I thought those guys would have first released My Baby's Baby on 12" in the UK and then had it picked up in the US afterwards? I don't recall seeing any Polo 12" of My Baby's Baby using the similar format as the other big songs they had, with vocal on A side and instrumental on B.

The 1979 Parachute 12" promo, RRD 20523 DJ, has both the vocal (6:40) and instrumental (5:50) on the same side. It's one of those 'one-sided' 12" deals that Casablanca seemed to love. They were distributing Parachute releases.

I always liked how Liquid Gold's final hit in '82 was called 'Where Did We Go Wrong'; quite appropriate as there creative skills seemed to be fast disappearing!
