I never knew they pressed mono versions, my copy is the early release with the original “Lovin’Livin’…” mix, and I just gave side 3-B and 4-B a spin on my headphones, the stereo/channel separation effect is restrained , but it’s there, on Larue’s “…real thing” one can clearly hear different synch effects near the end coming from the left and right, the same during L&K “Precious thing's” break, percussion instruments are playing separately on both R/L channels, especially the drummers’ HH and the Harp (right channel)and horns too, and on the retched version of “ Lovin….” Is even more evident, the same for Houston’s “Masterpiece” (wah wah guitar) and “Last Dance” reprise.
The catalog # is NPLP 7099-3 and sides are marked as Side 1-A and 2-A , 3-B 4-B and there is what looks like a British flag on the run out groove next to the funny looking number (sides) ’one’ and ‘two’ in overlapping letters.
