Alicia Myers "I want to thank you"

I have this great song on her first album, but never bought the 12" since the timing is the same (3:47). I recently heard an old tape in which this song has an extended intro.

Do you know any extended or remixed version (even Disconet or similar) of this track?

maybe one day I'll buy those CDs but I am searching for vinyls only at the moment.
Any idea if this extended version is a later issue or was released at that time?
In case anyone has the 12, which is its code number?

I recall seeing an item about this in one of the Billboard Disco columns that are on the same pages as the Disco charts. Something about an extended version being done many months after the short version had been played in clubs, because of the popularity of the cut.

I'll look again tonight for more specifics.

But, bottomline--I think a 12" of the extended version was released.

Here's the code number off the MCA 12" containing the 3:47 version (the only one I have): MCA-23511.

"...Thank You", on this 12", is actually Side 2, with the 'A' side being "You Get The Best From Me".
