    almost afraid to ask?

hi guy's and gal's, first time posting and it's a bit intimidating tbh :-?
you all seem to know your stuff, i tip my hat.
just looking for some help or information on a compilation called Disco Connection: Authentic Classic Disco 1976-1981 on wsm.
    http://www.discomusic.com/cds-more/975_0_3_0_C/
i've no cd players at home to mix on so i was thinking of picking it up on vinyl but im afraid the tracks will be cut short to fit it. if that was the case id rather pick up the full lenth one's on the cd and just play them out. anyone know or come across this. all help welcome. thanx

great site too! so so much info.

This is my 2nd favorite disco compilation of all time ("The Casablanca Records Story" is my first). Even if the vinyl version does have full length versions of all the songs I'll bet the sound quality wouldn't be as good. It does not have one single song on it I don't like, but it's kind of hard to figure out why Chic's pretty, tropical sounding "Sao Paulo" is there....it's not disco by any stretch of the imagination.
