I like the CLS. I see here in the Tampa area quite often. Class wheels. Congrats videoskooter - good choice. :D
If you like the Mustang Gt you really should test drive a new Corvette C6 or Cadillac XLR. :D
After waiting another 3 extra weeks-it finally arrived: the beautiful Mercedes CLS. We traded in the Mercedes G and my wife's SLK so we made a good deal!
Although I will mainly drive the Brabus SL and Nicole the CLS, I took it for a spin and it is a great ride! The only minus factor is the height of the roof which is just high enough for me (I'm 6.05 ft tall) but it handles smoothly, it's very silent and very comfortable.
BTW, yesterday I drove the new Mustang GT, not imported in Belgium but the dealership had one for the motorshows. Beautiful car, incredible engine muscle sound, but.... the back train of the car is very hot to handle and even dangerous. When you speed up it tends to go its own way and that's a shame for a sportscar like that.
But I'm pleased with our new one:

Sweet car - congrats to you on the purchase. I agree, you really should test drive the new Vette if you liked the Mustang.
VideoSkooter: My dear friend...you make way too much money. What did it feel like to lose so many euros the moment you drove it away from the dealership? If you're leasing...you still make too much money!!!
Apart from the skin & the price its the same car as this....
Also the old (2003) E-Class wheelbase is used in the new (for the UK) Chrysler 300, about £20,000 cheaper!
I used to have a Mustang GT. Like all muscle cars it has truck like torque so ya gotta know how to accelerate especially from stop and in turns. That's part of their mystique and heritage. It can be fun and dangerous if you don't know how to control it.
My car has traction control. Even with that, with so much torque you still don't wanna accelerate too hard on turns 8)
Nice sedan by the way. I recently rode in top Lexus sedan (400, 430, can't remember). It sounds like the Mercedes. Very, quiet, comfortable, and luxurious.
PS - Is Mercedes trying to push silver? I'd guess 6 in 10 of them I see are silver.
You know, I hesitated between this one and the Chrysler, but like you said, both the Cruiser and the Crossfire are based on older Mercs and they may be cheaper when purchasing but when it comes to reselling a Merc rates higher!Originally Written by Headlamp
I do like the Vette, it has beautiful looks but I drive a Brabus and that's something else :lol:Originally Written by jam master jay
Dear Q, if you work as hard as we do and take the business risks, you can afford a little treat from time to timeOriginally Written by Quinny

Paul, a Lexus is a very good car, an excellent car! But it doesn't have the right looks IMO.
Discoman, a Cadillac is on my list, later.....We are waiting for the Diesel versions to come out and then perhaps. Like the looks, especially the XLR. But I'm not as rich as Quinny thinks!![]()
Nice!! And I thought I had a nice car PFFFFFFFFFT!!![]()
