Tunes titled or with the word 'Freak' in it

I was having an anoraky (nerdy) moment and wondering about the word 'freak' in Disco tunes. There are numerous examples of tunes with freak in it.....

    Freak Out
    I Don't Wanna Be a Freak (but I can't help myself)
    Freak In

    etc....

Just wondering if anyone knows which was the first disco tune that had the word freak in it. Also what is the meaning of it and where did it come from in a Disco context ??

And.. what are tunes have the word 'freak' in it that I have forgotten.

The first instance I came across was Party Freaks by Miami. They were big on Freakin'.

    Other examples:
    Freak Around - Miami
Freak On Down My Way - Miami
Freak Of The Week - Funkadelic
    Freakin' Time - Asphalt Jungle
Zeke The Freak - Isaac Hayes
    Freaky Deaky - Roy Ayers

I WANT'A DO SOMEHING FREAKY TO YOU
    Leon Haywood

    1975

    (Sounds of ecstasy)

I want'a do something freaky to you
    Baby
    Oh, baby
    I want'a
    Right now
    Oh, baby

Your love is like a mountain
I'd love to slide down into your canyons
    (Slide down)
    In the valley of love
    (In the valley of love)
    I won't rest
    (I won't rest)
Until I bring joy and happiness
    (Ah)

I want'a do something freaky to you
    Baby
    (Something freakish to me)
    Oh, baby
    Oh
    I want'a
    (Something freakish to me)
    Baby

All prepostitons of the Zodiac signs
I won't quit until I blow your mind
    (Blow my mind)
    Compatible am I
    (Compatible am I)
    I'll hit the spot
    (Hit the spot)

    In the name of love
    Ooh, everything I've got
    Ooh Ooh Ooh

    [Sounds of ecstacy]
    Ow!

I want'a do something freaky to you
    Baby
    (Freakish to me)
    Oh, baby

I don't want'a stop your image of me
But my style of love is totally free
    (Free)
I'll put it where you want it
(Put it where you want it)
As long as you need it
(As long as you need it)
    I'll make it good
    Mm
    And I won't mistreat it
    (Ah)

I want'a do something freaky to you
    Baby
    (Something freakish to me)
    Oh, baby
    Oh
I want'a do something freakish to you right now
    (Something freakish to me)
    Oh, baby

    Get a little freakish, baby
    Get a little freakish, baby
    (Ah)
    Get a little freakish, baby
    Get a little freakish, baby
    (Oh)

All prepositions of the Zodiac signs
    I won't quit, no
    (Freakish to me)
    Until I blow your mind
    I'm compatible as ever
    Ooh
    I'll hit the spot
Oh, in the name of love
    (Something freakish, baby)
    In the name of love
    In the name of love
    In the name of love
    In the name of love
Ooh, in the name of love
    (Freakish, baby)

    You remembered huh Bernie
Anyway Headlamp did mention the song.
As for the 2nd part of this post dealing with the word "Freak" in the context of disco. This is my memory of it. It was more of a period slang that as it turns out paralleled the disco period. Freak initially meant someone or something wild and uninhibited. This was during the mid '70s. Over the next few years and into the mid '80s it referred to a woman with strong sex appeal. So say you were in a disco during the period and you saw Salma (or Lina ) working it like the scenes in "54" when she's dancing. You'd say, check out that "freak" over there. 8)

Great pick with Barry's "Come on".
I think he says "Sweet Freak". And hey disco was alive in 1994 when this was a big release.

Does anyone remember the dance craze, 'the Freak'?__ A very provocative dance__ here in Detroit the dance was band due to numerous fights on the dance floor and at the parks! I guess seeing your girl get 'freaked' didn't sit to well! :D

"Knee Deep", by Parliment Funkadelic ( not in title but stated thru song)

not just knee deep she was total knee deep when she did the freak with meeeeee.................she did the freak, boy was it neat yeahhhhh......she did the freak, boy was it funky yeahhhh!..........

    something like that!

    PLATO'S RETREAT --- Joe Thomas

lyrics seem very out of place though ... this song has a Van McCoy w/ flute hustle sound ....
probably changed the words at the last minute to update the song to better fit with the rapidly changing times
