To my taste the best sound of "classic" disco is by CERRONE. However, my personal favorite is italo-disco sound that came from less commercial, "darker" sounding tracks produced by Dee Jays and musicians from North of the Po Valley, in the richer and more industrialized section of Italy in early -mid 80's.
