70's version of Locomotion

There is lot of remakes of this song. What I look for is 70's version, tempo approx. 100-110bpm, with strings in background. I do NOT look for newer techno-style versions.

It could be the version by Ritz perhaps, though that is around the 128bpm mark. That came out in 79 :)

I can't even imagine the Locomotion at 110bpm. The original Little Eva version clocked in around 128.

That would be one slow train of dancers moving around the dancefloor. :lol:

Grand Funk Railroad had a hit with this song in the early 1970's.

I think the version he is looking for is either Ebony's or Computer's version. Those versions have more strings than Ritz' version.
