I'm sorry but nothing could ever be as charming & fabulous as the original animated series with its strings & 60s glamour. 8) I think that not far after disco, I'd have to name Gerry Anderson productions as one of my favourite things in life! :P (PS, wasn't Captain Scarlett a bit of alright? & you never saw him with a woman did you when he could have had his pick of those lovely 'angels'! :o )

That film was bloody awful!! Totally bad casting throuhout. Lady Penelope looked about 15 years old, you hardly saw the Tracey boys in action, and it was dominated by kids. When Rolls Royce refused to be involved they had to go to Cadillac instead, that was the first of the bad omens around the movie: Gerry Anderson also walked away from it. Jonthan Frakes, don't direct anymore films...Pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaassse!!!!

I've never heard of "Thunderbirds". I'm not sure it was ever shown in the states.

I do remember "The Avengers" with Diana Rigg. :D :D

They did show The Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlett in New York. I used to love the theme music for Scarlett :)
