Do we have any songwriters on the board? It can be someone who has a successful hit, someone who is sitting on a goldmine, or someone who is just aspiring with a great appreciation of music.

There are plenty of excellent songwriters out there in every genre/style of music. Unfortunately not everybody has the financial funds available for the MAJOR payola promotional push needed to thrust their song/songs to the top of the mainstream pop charts.

I have always hated the word/term "hit"

Just the mere mentioning of that word/term has always bothered me.
