Disco hit heard on ABC Golf broadcasts

Man, this has been driving me crazy. I've heard this song since the late 70's, primarily background music when ABC shows the scoreboard or goes to commercial.

I've been told it was/is a disco hit.

i was told, during the late 70s, that "don't turn away" by midnite flite was used on something like abc's wide world of sports. there are instrumental parts of this 12 inch single that would seem perfect for a smooth sleek fadeout to something else.

When ABC's golf program began, they used to play "Love's Theme", by Barry White and The Love Unlimited Orchestra.
