"This Is Serious"...?

I heard a soulful disco track today that I couldn't identify, with a male vocalist, chorus is "this is serious" - it's got some nice jazzy 'slap' bass playing and great production, sounds very late 70's/early 80s and I thought I might have heard Stevie Wonder contributing some vocals too.

Any ideas?
