how many of you are familiar with this almost ignored album from 1979 featuring two of the most underrated groups ever,this gem has some excellent dance tunes[i just had to dance-can you feel it-candy,and the very underrated-carla my love]hollar back if you have heard this gem,because it was as good as anything to come out of[79]..a gem!

Do you by chance have this album or conversion on to CD? If so please let me know because I'm trying to get my hands on it. Thanks ; )

I used to love the Softones!!! I still have my 12' of THAT OLD BLACK MAGIC!!!

It runs real well with HEAVEN MUST BE MISSING AN ANGEL by Tavares!!! Especially when you get to the instrumental breakdown of HEAVEN, that's when I used to slide in OLD BLACK MAGIC!!!

It's a nice mix!!!

Yeah, the Softones, i was 12 when I recorded That old black magic on German TV in some show about New York and it was one of the key songs evoking my disco funky soul passion. Regrettfully it remained a cassette-song, couldn't get it on record or cd in Germany, now I found it on You Tube.
