Really badly need this song ID'ing...

I heard this song a few months back on Smooth FM northwest...and didnt catch the artists name...

for a minute i thought it may have been the doobie brothers, then maybe late Al Green...as the DJ mentioned them

but anyway ive had no luck so have been forced to attempt playing it out on cubase...very crudely...indeed

anyway it aint disco but this place is probably my best bet...

the Piano is intended to follow the Vocal which is a fairly high pitched male vocal, and the rest is as it sounds...

i dont have much idea to year etc as i dont know the band either

anyway here it is in all its glory...i feel ive ruined a beutiful tune by midi=ing it up, lol. but i NNNEEEED IT!!
