The song is "Give it On Up(If You Want To) by Mtume from the 1980 album "In Search of The Rainbow Seekers" a NY/NJ dance classic - one of my favorite Mtume cuts. :D

You're Welcome :)
If you are just looking for that song, do not want to special order the import, or are budget minded, Sony has issued the Juicy fruit CD by Mtume. It's a budget selection of 10 tracks which covered about 4 of their albums. This is there only best of. It was created after Sony merged and acquired all of BMG's music. (Give it on up) was originally issued on RCA which is a Bmg company. All tracks are full album versions and there is no obvious omissions like the budget Luther Vandross compilations.
I've seen this disc at Wal-mart and Circuit City for about $5.
The other CD that BMG has reissued has the self entitled 1983LP by Jermaine Jackson which include the duet with Michael "Tell me I'm not dreamin'".
