80's New Wave Song heard at a Disco

I went to this party with an 80's theme it was mostly well known songs to me but this one song caught my ears
that I couldn't quite place so I need help with it
usually I figure this stuff out on my own
but this time the lyrcis were so blurred and I didn't catch enough of it so my search quaries on the internet resulteted in nothing


So the beat is quite uptempo and danceable with like one of those artificial drum machines controlling the rhytm

The Voice singing is I am almost sure a female one but quite dark
Annie Lennox like (it actually might be her or Eurythmics)

that is correct

but the version I heard at the disco must of been remixed for the dancefloor it was a lot more base and drums
and a lot less instruments
but now I know the title only a quest of finding the mix

It could have been the version by LnM Project that was out earlier last year...basically a musical arrangement of bass, synths and samples (as with every piece of dance music these days :roll: ) with the chorus of 'Everywhere' thrown in. The vocals by Bonnie Bailey are quite nice though.

like something Level 42
would produce....

but I guess its going to be a bitch to find.....

unless anybody is aware of a cover that somebody made of them in the 80's.-------
