Challenger Space Shuttle - Baby's Gang

What inspired Baby's Gang to write a song about the Space Shuttle? This is too funny.

This is one of my favorite songs by the way. But it's still pretty funny to me that of all things, they picked the Challenger. They must have been big fans of space flight.

Also, how many people in baby's gang? Was it a bunch of kids or was it adults?
