They're probably imports from Canada. I recognize those titles you listed as being from Unidisc. Check out Canadian websites like amazon.ca or samtherecordman.com.

I am looking at the ads here on DiscoMusic.com, and I am amazed at how expensive the "Best of...." CD's are.
Lime Greatest Hits..................$26.99
Best of D Train.........................$26.99
Musique/Keep on Jumpin..........$26.99
What's up with these high prices.
It's like when I go to buy a CD single of an American artist and have to pay "Import" prices.
Is it because the product is scarce?
You pay less for "Best of..." Donna Summer or KC CD's

I bought most of my Unidisc stuff like Unlimited Touch and DTrain about 5 years ago through FYE, Tower, and several private stores in Philly. I paid about $15.99 for the Canadian imports.
I rarely if ever find any used because they are somewhat scarce, imported, and are very solid. I noticed Amazon has been increasing their prices because fewer retailers like the ones previously mentioned want to handle deep catalog items. There is no inventory buyback agreement if it does not sell. The store in layman's terms is stuck with the product and selling over internet may yield marginal profit at $15.99.
Certain urban stores may buy a half dozen because there is a lot of traffic and they cater to a specific market who values them.
Amazon can get that $25 dollar amount because nobody else is selling it. Zsellers with new listings on Amazon are mostly drop shippers. There's little competition.
I normally don't care.... as long as they've been remastered.
