A 7 minute version of Disco Lady? Is this some special 12" remix released back in the day? I thought the LP version was the definitive, longest mix.Originally Written by discodisco

There was a 12 inch released with the 7 minuter version, but I have only seen it as a WL promo. I believe it was on Columbia.
I bought a 12" copy of Disco Lady a few years ago at a garage sale. The timing is 7:44 with Love Is Better In The A.M. on the flip. The single is a 1977 release even though Disco Lady was released in '76.Originally Written by needlefingers
My copy isn't a promo. I think Columbia doubled up the hits when they started releasing 12" singles in '77. For example, my copy of the Manhattans Kiss and Say Goodbye which went #1 in '76 is backed with It Hurts So Good (To Be Loved So Bad) which was a 1977 release.
This is most likely a bootleg. In addition to the fact that I don't think anyone else here has heard of this outfit, KT1 03A is not a valid Canadian postal code. It's always letter/number/letter (space) number/letter/number.
I just saw on Amazin.com that you can get the Johnnie Taylor album "Eargasm" on cd. For the cd, they have added a couple of bonus tracks including the 7:44 version of Disco Lady.
