Due to the Hinrg mecca that was Brighton in the 80's, this track was track was huge in Worthing and was alarmingly enough, the best selling 12" single at 'Our Price' Worthing. We sold shed loads during the summer of '86 when it was first released then it was swiftly deleted and re-released in '87. Strange, but play it from Littlehampton to where you live, and nobody wanted to know it! :lol:

Wouldn't have realised that Brighton was a HiNRG mecca during the '80s. Gay culture still didn't figure that big outside of its own scene, except for that brief period in '83/'84.

It does go to explain, in part, why a guy in Brighton was given the label credits for a Sylvester remix in '88 that I was partly responsible for.

I have 2 remixes on tape from a live broadcast from a club in Dallas, Tx. Sadly, cant find any remixes on Vinyl or CD yet. This songs BOOGIES!!!

From what I remember it was called the 'Housey Housey' mix and appeared on Domino Records. Here's a photo of the label etc.

Speak of the Devil, Just went to a 1/2 price book store for lunch and found the 12" single in the "clearance bin". Paid $2.98 for it. I guess I got the younger version because it says on the back cover that Miki Zone passed away in New York on 12/31/86. SIDE A is US original Mix and SIDE B is the UK Love mix. Also bought FOXY "Get Off" LP and coincidentally (sp) the Herbie Mann "Superman" LP (My 2nd one) for 98 cents each.
