Mash-ups

Mash-ups are a specific form of remixing, in which two or more songs are played at the same time. Sometimes a track features the music of one song and the vocals (stripped of backing music) of another. Usually, mash-ups bring artists from disparate musical genres together: the 1979 disco hit "Good Times" by Chic, "Take Me Out" by Scottish pop combo Franz Ferdinand and "Triple Trouble" by rockin' rappers the Beastie Boys.
