If you buy this record your life, will be better.
Good thing YOU found it, cause I never heard of it.
BTW, I LIKE it when people answer their own questions. I've done it myself. You're obviously hunting and all of a sudden you find what you're looking for.
As Martha Stewart would say, "It's a good thing".
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
I'm surprised that Maarten didn't get this one, because AD VISSER is a legendary Dutch TVshow presenter.
When i was young we used to watch Dutch TV for the the show he presented: TOPPOP! It's a legendary music program, all the worlds greatest artist used to perform there. It was a bit like the "top of the pops" that you find in Engeland on the BBC, only presented in Dutch.
These days AD Visser is new age GURU, releasing new-age music CD's based on ALPHA-waves, holding BRAIN SESSIONS, Creative sessions, and even releasing a CD to "enhance the kamasutra experience". He sold shitloads of that CD in Holland.
But the best thing of all is that his still performs live with a disco band! THE AD VISSER'S AMAZING UNFORGETTABLE INCREDIBLE 70'S PARTIES. He brings a discobar, liveband, international disco-guests, a real light-up disco floor, projections of 70's videoclips,... the full experience.
But it's an exlusive show, only for big bucks paying companies that want to have an special company-party.
Party on Holland!

NONKEL - you beat me to it! Hey, it was weekend, the sun was out - my wife and son demanded we get out of the house...
But... let me fill in the part on Daniel Sahuleka. He is a second generation immigrant from the Mulakka's (is that how you spell it in English? It is part of Indonesia).
His music was always somewhere between pop, jazz and disco/dance. He was well ahead of his time - kind of like Lenny Kravitz meets Seal.
He never had any MAJOR hits and this was a one-off for both artists. What REALLY surprised me is that this record, that I had totally forgotten about, actually made it to Montreal, Canada. Would love to hear the story about that!
By the way, when I read the post, I thought that it was actually referring to "Saddle up" by David Christie. I would have never guessed this oddity from my home country!

Actually, this one was played on regular basis on radio at CKMF 94, I liked it, so I bought the record, for personnal use. It was popular enough CBS records Canada even made their own copies for the canadian market. Despite the fact that internet was not existing, we've had quite a few excellent canadian DJs like Robert Ouimet, Mario Tremblay, etc trading records with many connections around the globe, and ended up playing in local clubs and radio, and finally to local vinyl market.
Thanks for the reply. It is a small world I guess... And this is just interesting stuff to know (spoken like a true fan of factoids!).
